Join the CITL seminar for engaging discussions on teaching and learning at RTC. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the seminar held on occasional Mondays and Wednesdays after class hours. The seminar, lasting 2-3 hours, delves into relevant topics derived from CITL’s needs assessment study.

Objectives:

  • Foster discussion on teaching-learning theories, practices, issues, and opportunities.

  • Enhance understanding of RTC’s specific teaching and learning needs.

  • Encourage meaningful engagement among faculty, staff, and students.

Seminar structure:

  • Format: Master class seminar

  • Contributors: 2-3 facilitators per seminar

  • Participants: Choose to be a participant (2 CPD) and a contributor (4 CPD)

Preparation:

  • Read assigned articles ahead of seminar

  • Contributors present key arguments

  • Explore RTC context - concerns, challenges, and opportunities.

TBD The purpose of this seminar is to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT in teaching-learning within higher education. In this seminar, participants will delve into understanding the opportunities and challenges created by AI in HE from the perspective of both the educator and the learner. This seminar intends to assist in gaining practical insights into leveraging AI tools to augment teaching and learning experiences.
