CITL, in collaboration with two tutors, will be involved in a research project entitled - Assessing the effectiveness of mentor-mentee programme at RTC- through the support of RTC Research Development Grant 2023.

1 This research initiative will focus on the critical topic of ‘Assessment and student learning’. This research will aim to explore assessment strategies, their impact on student learning, and the frequency of assessment across programmes at RTC. Tutors who participate in this research will have the chance to contribute to the development of effective assessment practices that can enhance student engagement and achievement.
Research objectives:
  • Investigate Assessment methods - Explore various assessment methods and their effectiveness in measuring student learning
  • Assess frequency of assessments - evaluate the frequency of assessments at RTC and analyze their impact on student learning and performance.
