Bhutan's First and Only A+ Accredited Institution      Inspiring Education in Bhutan

Two RTC staff members completed an Erasmus+ training mobility visit September 3-9th, 2018 to Szent István University in Budapest, Hungary. The overall objectives of the mobility were to help build up the cooperation between the two higher education institutions, to acquire knowledge and specific know-how from experiences and good practices abroad as well as to develop practical skills in coordinating exchange/mobility programmes.

Two RTC students are also spending a semester at SZIU for Autumn/Winter 2018-19.

RTC staff members Ms. Tshering Choden, International Relations Officer, and Ms. Mepham Zangmo, Assistant Finance Manager, had the opportunity to learn from a broad range of perspectives and in a vastly different professional and cultural environment. RTC benefits greatly from our own returning staff that bring rich intercultural professional perspectives back with them. The staff will be better equipped to support the internationalization efforts at RTC, learning from Szent Istvan's experiences with coordinating exchange programmes.

sziuRTC students Ms. Gayatri Chhetri and Ms. Jurmey Choden Rinzin join a diverse international student body at SZIU as they enroll in courses relevant to their respective subject areas (Environmental Studies, Social Sciences). The exchange programme was made possibly through a succesful Erasmus+ international credit mobility project between SZIU and RTC. SZIU staff and students are also visiting and studying at RTC, with one student already in Bhutan and an additional student coming in the following semester. The partnership is expected to grow in the coming years.
