Digital Storytelling Contest
Royal Thimphu College, in collaboration with the ERASMUS+ project ‘FRIENDS - Furthering International Relations Capacities and Intercultural Engagement to Nurture Campus Diversity and to Support Internationalization at Home, is initiating a contest on Digital Storytelling Contest. Participants will present a story through the use of multimedia such as audio, video and images. The contest is aimed at creating awareness of the concept of Intercultural Awareness and Cultural Diversity (IACD) on campus and for promoting International and Intercultural experiences. The content can be 2-3 mins long. The story can be from any real-life experience about international and intercultural experiences, global experiences, and cross-cultural experiences; intercultural journey.
If you are studying in your 1st yr or 2nd yr with an academic average of 60% without any backpaper, come take part in the contest. Furthermore, top shortlisted students will have to participate in a 6-weeks Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Intercultural Awareness and Cultural Diversity.
Top three participants will win:
- 8 weeks boot camp in Bulgaria at VUM university (July - Sept 2020)
- Study-abroad for a year at SZIE in Hungary (Sept 2020 - July 2021)
- “FRIENDS SWAG” souvenir giveaways.
- Extra points will be awarded for participating in Digital Story Telling contest and registering on the Intercultural Passport/ MOOC on the link mentioned here: https://erasmusplusfriends.eu/register-page/ -- for anyone planning to apply for study-abroad 2020 application to other exchange partners as well!

Application forms are available for download at my.rct.bt. READ THE GUIDELINES FOR BOTH DIGITAL STORYTELLING AND STUDY-ABROAD BEFORE APPLYING. Study-abroad applications are due by email before 5 pm on 27th March 2020.
